Optional Add-Ons
Tailor your product with a selection of optional features, available on the page or as standalone products.
A Cappella Version
An a cappella version contains only the vocals, without any instrumental elements.
Commonly used for remixes, this version allows producers and DJs to build new arrangements around the original vocals.
The a cappella version is usually provided as a full vocal stem including its effects.
Instrumental Version
An instrumental version contains all the musical elements of the track without the vocals.
It is useful for live performances, rehearsals, background music, and karaoke-style uses.
This version is also commonly used for remixes or alternative vocal recordings.
Live Playback Version
A playback version of your track designed for concerts and live performances.
It contains all backing elements while removing the lead instruments and/or lead vocals that are performed live on stage.
The live playback version is the audio file used as the playback during the show. It allows the artist or musicians to play or sing the main parts live while keeping a full, controlled sound.
Additional Revisions
All of our mixing and mastering services include three rounds of revisions. A round of revisions consists of a set of modifications (e.g., raising the guitars, lowering the drums, darkening the vocals, etc.).
If further modifications are still necessary after these rounds of revisions, each additional round will be billed at €10. Projects are usually approved by the artists after two rounds of revisions.
Please note: if you send back a new mix or new files that are different from the original file, this will be billed as a round of revisions, even if you are still entitled to several rounds of revisions for your track, as the work will have to be started from scratch.
STEM Export
Each STEM represents a group of tracks, such as drums, bass, vocals, guitars, or other musical sections.
STEM export is useful for live performances, remixes, and post-production, providing audio groups as individual STEM files.
Up to eight STEMs can be delivered, depending on the project requirements and arrangement.
Alternative Mastering
It is possible to order a version optimized for a specific format, as online platforms have different distribution standards than physical formats such as CDs.
We recommend that you let us know which streaming services or physical formats your tracks will be distributed on.
Based on this information, we will be able to offer you a version tailored to your needs.
DDP Image
A DDP (Disc Description Protocol) image is a digital master of a CD, ready for professional pressing.
It contains all audio tracks, track order, indexes, and technical data required by pressing plants and ensures that the CD is reproduced exactly as intended.
Optional metadata such as ISRC codes and UPC/EAN can be included for commercial tracking and distribution. ISRC codes and UPC/EAN are usually provided by your digital music distribution services (Distrokid, TuneCore, etc).
